This double knit is 280gsm and extremely soft! The face is almost like a soft shell face. 7.67 oz in weight/ 260 gsm.

 This knit is comparable in weight and hand to ponte de roma but with a sponge like hand .This fabric is perfect for structured garments, lofty and slight drape. Can by compared to scuba fabric for wetsuits but lighter weight for garment making. Wrinkle resistant. Great for cosplays costuming and dresses, skirts, jackets, full bodied drape and 30% stretch on the cross-grain. Scuba is an excellent choice for structured dresses or skirts and swimwear.

Scuba also insulates heat, making it a better choice for cozy winter clothes than for warm weather.
