100% Raw Silk in the undyed natural color of the silk fiber. This raw silk has a nubby and textured surface and feels like cotton. It is not the same feel as the silky silk satins/chiffons.

 It is softer and with more drape. It is the most natural form of silk and is very comfortable to the touch especially if you give it one wash. It's also easier to take care of than traditional silk. You don't need to dry clean! You can wash it in cold water and tumble dry low.

This raw silk is sturdy  and the perfect weight for garment construction. This fabric is medium weight and can be flannel-like in its application (it feels substantial and is comfortable to wear).
