Description: 100% organic cotton poplin, measuring 44/45" wide, 115 gsm. Perfect for quilting, garments and accessories that require a medium to lightweight woven fabric. A beautiful shirting weight woven ( feels soft like silk and sateen!) Soft and worth it! This is a lighter weight fabric compared to quilting cotton. Great for quilting, home decor, and apparel. Description: A shirting poplin that is soft and versatile. This organic cotton is perfect for garment making and quilts. Lightweight and slight crisp. It is a lighter weight compared to a traditional quilting cotton. This fabric is soft, breathable, and opaque.

Fabric is sold by the ½yard. For example, if you would like to purchase 1 yard, you would enter 2 in the Qty. box at Checkout. Yardage is cut in one continuous piece.

To be considered 100% organic, our cotton has to meet a very strict approval process.   The certifier has approved every step in the process from cotton to the finished goods. The process begins from the time the cotton is grown, to how the cotton is transported to the mill, how it is milled, how it is bleached using oxygen based bleach (non chlorine), how the cotton is printed using *Low Impact Dyes, and must also meet a standard of fair working conditions set by the International Labour Organization (ILO). At the end of the process a certificate is provided to ensure that all of these standards have been met and approved.
