Asanoha or the hemp leaf pattern is one of my very favorite patterns, but it can be tricky to draw from scratch. I designed this oil-board stencil to quickly and accurately draw the pattern to use in your sashiko stitching projects & beyond.

WHY A PAPER STENCIL? Jessica tries hard to reduce plastic use and while a plastic stencil will last longer. That's also the problem. It will also last too long (including the waste created while making the stripes in the stencil). I've looked into recycled plastic, but that doesn't seem to be an option at this time.
